Do you inhabit a female body? Do you want to make friends with your menstrual cycle? Do you want to understand more about the wisdom of your body’s cycles? Do you want to learn yoga therapy practices to support menstrual and menopausal well being? Then this immersion course is for you. It includes key yoga therapy practices for each phase of women’s cycles, with deep relaxation practices to nourish your well-being, and friendly chats to share top tips and hints to live in harmony with your all the different cycles that women experience over their lifetime.
This weekend retreat reconnects you to the wisdom of the cycles of your own well being - it is rooted in intuitive cyclical wisdom and is a nurturing, welcoming space of love and self- care for women of all ages - This is a radical space for rematriation, reconnection and recovery of our bodies’ inner wisdom.
This weekend is a standalone event that offers deep nourishment and reconnection to intuitive wisdom for women of all ages. This is also a pre-requisite for the full training in Yoni Shakti Yoga (Sicily 20th November)
If you seek to restore the rhythmic cycles of your well being during your menstrual years, or during perimenopause or during the years post-menopause, this is the place to be. It is never too late or too soon to reconnect to the wisdom of your own body, together in a nurturing circle of belonging
What Does This Course Include?
In this course Uma will be sharing different practices to help women tune their bodies and their practices to the different season. Understanding how the cycle of the seasons are reflected in our bodies and how we can use yoga to help us come into balance and harmony.

Your facilitator
Uma has been teaching yoga for over 3 decades and is a yoga therapist with special expertise in yoga therapy for women’s health. Uma is a mother of three, and has written four books on yoga for women, including the massive Yoni Shakti, and two books on Yoga Nidra, including Yoga Nidra Made Easy (Hay House 2022) and Nidra Shakti, An Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Yoga Nidra.
Uma is one of the most significant voices in the field of yoga for women. She works internationally, sharing yoga retreats, trainings and empowerments that support the natural arising of prana shakti: the power of life. She trains specialist teachers in Total Yoga Nidra and Yoni Shakti Well Woman Yoga Therapy for menstrual and menopausal health, pregnancy, birth, and postnatal recovery. Uma is certified as a Yoga Therapist by the International Association of Yoga Therapy.
