About this Event
YogaBirth classes with Tracy Awere are specifically for pregnancy and are mindfully crafted to support you all the way from 14 weeks right up to your baby's birth. In these classes, we work with movement, positions, breath and relaxation to support the changes in your pregnant body and to prepare your body and mind for labour and birth.
The classes are suitable for all fitness levels, whether you are a complete beginner or already have a regular yoga practice. Classes are booked in blocks of 6 weeks at a time or it's your first time attending my class, you may book a single session as a taster before committing to the 6- week blocks. Single sessions can also be booked if you are more than 34 weeks pregnant.
Each class begins with 30mins of pregnancy/birth discussion over a cup of herbal tea. These are short, informal childbirth education sessions and occasionally we have a guest speaker come along to share their knowledge. Our conversations offer valuable, evidence-based information and different perspectives so that you’re able to find what’s best for you.
The discussion is then followed by 90mins of yoga which will engage your body, your breath and your intuition for optimal relaxation and wellbeing.
