About this Event
This half-day workshop is designed to introduce practitioners to the core elements of yoga in a digestible format. By exploring pranayama (breathwork), asana (postures), and dhyana (meditation), in the order the yoga scriptures suggest, participants gain a taste of how these foundational practices can enhance their personal practice and teaching.
1 hour of pranayama.
Learn how to consciously control the breath in order to increase vitality, calm the mind, and balance energy.
1 hour of asana.
Practice physical postures that build strength, flexibility, and stability in the spine in order to prepare for longer meditation sits.
1 hour of dhyana.
Discover preparatory practices for stillness with introductions to Vipassana and Transcendental Meditation techniques.
This workshop is for all levels.
