About this Event
Yoga is a complete and holistic system of breath and movement and it has been shown to have a positive effect on the brain, hormones and endocrine system. As well as working to reduce anxiety, depression and insomnia; yoga can help bring the body back into balance, reducing inflammation and creating a more harmonious relationship with the body.

During this 3 hour workshop you will explore specific active and restorative yoga poses as well as breath-work and mindfulness to help you manage the symptoms of Peri-Menopause.
You will learn how specific sequences can help to:
o Burn off heat, ground you and calm you
o Reduce anxiety overwhelm and brain fog
o Shift lethargy and low moods
o Ease joint pain and support bone health
o Manage sleep issues
About Charlotte Douglas
Charlotte is an experienced yoga therapist who has been trained by the Yoga Teachers Forum (UK) to support people experiencing peri-menopause. Her classes are designed to be accessible and inclusive, everyone is welcome. This is an opportunity to join a small and welcoming space where you will be able to ask questions, receive encouragement and be part a community.
