The Yoga Sutras is probably the most influential yoga text in modern yoga.
It lays out a really comprehensive path to complete bliss. Step-by-step - it identifies the problem, the cause of the problem, plans for a solution. It also tells us the obstacles we might have and how to avoid them.
Now there's the slight issue that we might not want the bliss Patanjali is talking about. But no matter how far down the happier and healthier spectrum you think we can go, his assessments of problem, path and solution are just as valuable to us as they were to his students two thousand years ago.
All too often we cherry pick bits from it, but let me explain the whole thing (in a day) because I think it's unbelievably clever, very practical and incredibly valuable.
