Yoga Support for Hypermobility Class Series
Presented by the Osher Center for Integrative Health at Vanderbilt's Therapeutic Movement Program

Description:
Yoga Support for Hypermobility is a 6-week class series designed for those with Hypermobility Syndrome, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, and other conditions. This in-person class offering facilitates safe movements within a student's own range so, that the fear and anxiety associated with moving can be eased. Specific intents include slowly building stability and strength, practicing calming breathing, and increasing one’s trust in their own system.
All Osher Movement Classes are facilitated by an instructor with experience and specific training working with participants with chronic pain and conditions.
This class is a part of our M1 and M2 Codes on our Class Suitability Code (see below).
M1 classes are suitable for those with some physical limitations and those new to the practice. Modifications available if support of a chair or the wall is needed. M2 classes are suitable for those comfortable moving independently.
Location:
These in-person classes sessions will be held at The Osher Center for Integrative Health at Vanderbilt at 3401 West End Avenue, Suite 380, Nashville TN 37203 (entrance is through the parking garage in the back of the building). Additional logistical information will be emailed to participants prior to the class start date.
Cancellation policy:
Participants may cancel up to one week before start date without penalty, after that date, there is a 20% cancellation fee. No refund is available after the class start date.
