About this Event
Introduction
Maybe it was something you said and immediately wished you hadn't. Maybe it's the stress that just sits there, nameless, at the end of every day. Maybe you're simply curious about why you feel the way you do — and whether there's a better way to respond. Whatever brought you here, you're in the right place.
This is not a therapy session. It is not a meditation class. Think of it as yoga — but for the mind.
Yoga for the Mind is a 90-minute, in-person community workshop that introduces a simple, structured practice for understanding your emotions — what you feel, why you feel it, and how to respond rather than just react.
The practice is inspired by Navarasa, an ancient Eastern framework — think of it the way you think about yoga. A practical tool drawn from a rich tradition, no background or belief required. You will be guided through this framework using a colour-mapping activity that is visual, personal, and genuinely illuminating.

• Are curious about understanding your emotions better
• Want a simple way to pause and reflect

No prior experience is required. All activities are done individually, and sharing is always optional. The workshop is 18+ and group size is intentionally kept small to create a calm, private, and reflective environment.
What People Are Saying
"The texts were the gentle nudge I needed to stay mindful throughout the day. I didn't realise how much I was running on autopilot."
— Sarah, Small Business Owner, Calgary
"Finally, a wellbeing practice that doesn't demand more screen time. It's the one thing in my day that's entirely my own."
— Mike, Early Tester
From our pilot session: Attendees told us they left with something they hadn't expected — a simple, practical way to recognise their own emotional patterns. That's exactly what we built this for.

About My Fyrst
My Fyrst was created by Neelima, a Certified Holistic Life Coach, architect, and PMP, who spent over a decade exploring the Navarasa emotional framework and Ayurvedic principles through her own personal practice. What began as a private daily ritual gradually became a structured method — and eventually, My Fyrst. The three-step practice you'll experience tonight is her original work, built from the inside out.
Together, Ravi and Neelima bring a calm, experienced, and genuinely human presence to every session.
A Gentle Note
My Fyrst is a daily emotional self-awareness practice designed to help you understand your emotions, recognise your patterns, and respond to life with greater clarity and intention — not a therapy session, counselling program, or clinical service.
