Rooted in alt-folk, his music blends modern reflection with the timeless storytelling of artists like Townes Van Zandt and John Prine, delivered with quiet honesty and emotional depth.
Dakota Cooney is a Tofino–based singer-songwriter whose sound spans crooning blues to twangy folk. Inspired by women like Adrianne Lenker, Lucinda Williams, and Josephine Foster, her old-fashioned vocals bring a raw, timeless presence to every song.
Together, Kieran Campbell and Dakota Cooney form a compelling folk duo, weaving their distinct styles into something intimate and dynamic.
