Educator: Dr. Dixie Brown
Dr. Dixie Brown is a PhD level Therapist, Integrative Medicine Practitioner, and Nutritionist with 15 years of experience working in the Mental Health field, specifically with trauma, eating disorders, and substance use. She is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Certified Clinical Supervisor, and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Supervisor. Dixie is a supervisor certified by the Center for Mind-Body Medicine in Washington, DC, who provides Mind-Body Medicine Skills Groups to support trauma healing internationally. Furthermore, Dixie has also completed certification in Integrative and Functional Nutrition, Biofeedback, and Wellness Coaching. Dixie founded Lotus Healing, a consulting and educational firm that supports those seeking to build integrative treatment models and treatment teams globally, developing wellness programs for organizations and supporting existing mental health programs and private sector businesses by offering consulting, training, and supervision.
