This 4-week Yoga for Beginners series is designed for anyone who wants to start practicing yoga in a supportive, welcoming, and judgment-free space.
Whether you’ve never stepped on a mat, feel unsure walking into your first class, or have recently started and want a better understanding of poses, alignment, and modifications—this series meets you exactly where you are.
Over four weeks, we’ll break yoga down in a clear, approachable way. You’ll learn:
• The fundamentals of common yoga poses
• How to adjust and modify poses for your body
• Safe options for injuries, tightness, or limited mobility
• How to move with awareness, breath, and intention
• Why yoga is about so much more than “just stretching”
We’ll also explore the philosophy behind yoga in an accessible, real-life way—because yoga isn’t about being “good” at poses. It’s about showing up, paying attention, and learning to listen to your body.
Beyond the physical practice, this series is an invitation into The Yoga Place community—a space where people come together to move, breathe, laugh, learn, and support one another. Many students find that one of the most meaningful parts of starting yoga is realizing they’re not alone.
By the end of the series, you’ll feel confident walking into any yoga class, understanding what’s being cued, knowing how to modify when needed, and feeling at home on your mat.
