Melanie Black will be teaching a 60 minute yoga fusion class. Children are welcome to join and if they are 12 and under they are free. Let's' have some fun while we move with intention. Bring a mat and a water bottle. Intended for all fitness levels, Yoga Fusion is a class that consists of a mixture of traditional yoga poses and other forms of exercise like strength or resistance training while focusing on breathing with movement. This blending of techniques focuses on combining mind and body exercises with the benefits of strength, aerobics, balance and flexibility. Receive lots of specific instruction for traditional yoga poses, sequences, and proper alignment. Learn to link movement with breath. Whether holding a posture or flowing through sequences, a mix of lying down, seated, standing and balance poses make this class perfect for beginners and those preferring ongoing instruction and variety. Also appropriate for intermediate levels with optional challenges offered. Includes mindful breath and movement sequences. **New students please arrive 15 minutes early.
