Please join us for Yoga For a Cause: a donation based, gentle floor yoga class to be held at the Pine Knoll Shores Town Hall. All proceeds will benefit Carteret County Humane Society. Please bring a mat and any other yoga props you would like to use. Yoga blankets are especially nice for lifting the hips in seated poses and for padding the knees. (A few mats are available in case someone forgets to bring one.) Yoga blocks and straps will be provided. Pine Knoll Shores' Town Hall is a beautiful venue, nestled in the maritime forest and marsh of Bogue Sound. After class, participants might want to change into some comfortable walking shoes to enjoy one of the easy to walk trails leading to the sound located behind PKS town hall. Donate what you can, and know that all class proceeds will go directly to Carteret County Humane Society to help them care for the many animals that call The Shelter home while they wait for their forever homes.
