With Hervey Bay being one of the top whalewatching destinations in the world, why not gift yourself and loved ones a wholesome day full of yoga, meditation, humpback whales and friendly community....

All info below, there's a lot so grab a cuppa!
Here's a quick summary of the day and more info further below. The day includes:
- 2.5 hours of Yoga & Meditation with Kate Fallick (Yoga with Kate)
- 4 hours of Whale Watching - with our good friends Hervey Bay Whale Watch on their afternoon cruise
- Morning tea (some light snacks, fruit, crackers, dip)
- Afternoon tea on cruise (tea, coffee, light nibbles)
- Please note whilst lunch is not included in price, everyone is invited for a lunch at the Marina. This is optional due to individual needs and budgets, but a really lovely part of the day, more info below for more
This day will be offered on 4 different dates (Sundays):
Jul 12, Jul 19, Jul 26 and Aug 2.

About the day:
- The Yoga & meditation part of the day will be held at the CWA Hall, 19 Pulgul St, Urangan, and will be taught by fully qualified yoga teacher Kate Fallick (Yoga with Kate).
Kate has taught yoga for 20 years in Brisbane and Hervey Bay aswell as in the UK and has trained extensively (including in India) to provide welcoming, safe and fun classes to everyone of all levels of experience and flexibility etc. BYO yoga mat.
- The Whale watching part of the day, we will be onboard the lovely 'Hervey Bay Whale Watch' vessel 'Quick Cat II' where we witness our dear friends the humpback whales in the wild who visit annually alongside the beautiful K'gari (aka Fraser Island) in the background, the biggest sand island in the world with her beautiful coloured sands and maybe even spot a dingo (wongari!).
There is also a chance to see other marine life such as dolphins, turtles, dugongs, depends on the day what spectacular show Mother Earth will gift us with.
Humpback whales are so amazing, inquisitive and love interacting with humans so here's to a wonderful, heart opening day out on the water. (More info on this further below)
Schedule: This is the schedule of the day, more details further below about everything so hang in there....... there's lots to this wonderful day!
The Yoga & Whale Watching day goes from 9am sharp to 5pm, although please try to arrive at hall between 8.45am and 9am if you can as we will start 9am sharp.
Both yoga & Meditation will be held in the CWA Hall, 19 Pulgul St, Urangan.
8.45am - 9.00am -Arrivals / Check in / Set up your yoga space
9.00am-9.15am - Welcome/Introduction
9.15am - 10.30am - Yoga
10.30am - 10.40am - Morning Tea Break
10.40am - 11.15am - Meditation (we will be connecting with the whales at 11.11am!)
11.15am - 11.30am - Closing circle/sharing
11.30am - Pack up and walk or drive to Great Sandy Straits Marina (only 5-10 min walk away)
11.45am - 12.40pm Lunch (not included in price but there is option to lunch together at 'The Dock' at the Marina, please join if you can, it's really lovely* (more info below)
12.45pm - We will line up to check in for 1pm departure
1.00pm - Departure time for afternoon whale watch cruise
1.00pm-5.00pm
We will have a fabulous time whalewatching for hours out in the beautiful Platypus bay, in the Great Sandy Straits where the whale migration stops for a whale holiday!
5.00pm - Return to Marina and our day concludes. There are restaurants at the marina if you are looking for somewhere for dinner after the day out.
