About this Event
Join Vikki Poole and Mark Smallman in this beautiful church setting for a soothing yoga flow followed by a deeply meditative sound bath using gongs and other instruments to relax and restore both your mind and body.
The church space is a beautiful environment for these sessions, it has great acoustics and underfloor heating, perfect for a February weekend.
We'll be tapping into the powers of movement before shifting into a soundbath for shavasana. You'll lay down comfortably and relax, while the vibrations and sound of the gong work on the mind and body. No effort required.
If you are totally new to these practices, welcome!
No experience or knowledge is needed.
Please remember to bring:
- A Yoga Mat - there are none available at the church!
- Blanket or jumper to keep warm
- Pillow for your head
- Eye mask to cover your eyes if desired
Parking: There are often some restrictions around the church due to a football match, so if you are driving, please plan your parking ahead of time.
You can check out a previous sound bath from Mark at the Church: here
Please ask any questions that arise and we will get back to you asap.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Gong baths are not suitable for anyone with a pacemaker, anyone who suffers from fits (epileptics), or anyone who is extremely sensitive to sound. They are also not recommended for women in the first trimester of pregnancy due to the unstable nature of pregnancy during that time. If you wear a hearing aid, your device should be turned off during the session. If you have any concerns, please speak with your doctor in advance.
