About this Event

After a refreshing summer break, we are delighted to announce our return with our next yoga, cacao, and sound journey, taking place at the beautiful Study Society in Hammersmith. This event will be truly special, as we are thrilled to be joined by a talented group of singers, musicians, and healers, all coming together to lead us on a transformative journey into the heart of cacao medicine.

The program will begin with gentle movement to prepare your body and soul. We will then continue by setting intentions and serving the sacred cacao. Finally, we will get comfy and cosy for the sound journey, which will be brought to you by a group of wonderful musicians and healers.

Cacao, a delicious, nourishing elixir, and superfood contains high levels of nutrients and bioactive compounds with proven benefits increasing resilience to stress and improving cognitive abilities. The effect of the cacao will be boosted by the sacred sounds of gongs, Himalayan singing bowls, Koshi bells, therapeutic percussion, and more. The combination of yoga, cacao, and sound provides one of the best ways to reach a state of full-body bliss, amplifying their power to open the heart, expand the mind, and connect with the infinite intelligence of the body.

Prepare to leave feeling rejuvenated and uplifted!

Address: Colet House, The Study Society, 151 Talgarth Rd, London W14 9DA

Who can join?

Everyone is welcome - experienced meditators and those curious to try a gong bath for the first time. The beauty of a gong bath meditation is that anyone can enjoy it, no experience necessary. (Please see note below about circumstances where gong baths might not be suitable).

IMPORTANT NOTE: Gong baths are not suitable for anyone with a pacemaker, anyone who suffers from fits (epileptics), or anyone who is extremely sensitive to sound. They are also not recommended for women in the first trimester of pregnancy due to the unstable nature of pregnancy during that time. If you wear a hearing aid, your device should be turned off during the session. Cacao ceremonies are not recommended for individuals who are taking MAOI inhibitors, have heart conditions, or are highly sensitive to caffeine, as well as pregnant or breastfeeding women. Additionally, those with certain medical conditions or on specific medications should consult a healthcare professional before participating.

What should I bring?

Please bring your own thick mat (a pilates mat or camping mat are ideal), and wear a warm jumper or bring a blanket to keep warm. An eye mask may also be nice to use.

Who will be leading the session?
