About this Event
Join us for a nourishing evening of yin yoga, ceremonial cacao, and a sound bath; an intentional space to slow down, soften, and reconnect.
We’ll begin by sharing cacao, a gentle heart-opening plant medicine that helps bring us into the body and into presence. Cacao supports emotional awareness, grounding, and connection, creating a supportive foundation for the evening.
From there, we’ll move into a yin yoga practice. Yin is slow and meditative, with postures held for longer periods of time to gently target the connective tissues and invite the nervous system into a state of rest. With cacao in the body, this practice often feels deeper; sensations are clearer, emotions are more accessible, and the mind becomes quieter.
We’ll close with a sound bath and meditation. Sound works on a subtle level, helping integrate the experience, regulate the nervous system, and bring the body into a deeply relaxed, receptive state.
This is a space to be held, to release what you’ve been carrying, and to simply be. No prior yoga or meditation experience is needed, just come as you are.
**please arrive 5-10 min early and bring a mug for cacao, a journal and pen **
yoga mats, blankets, and bolsters will be provided
