About this Event
This deeply restorative workshop begins with a grounding 60-minute Yin Yoga practice, suitable for all levels including complete beginners. You’ll be guided through a carefully curated sequence of floor-based poses designed to target specific meridians (energy channels), stimulating the internal organs to support overall well-being. Holding each pose for up to 3-5 minutes allows for a gentle yet effective stretch, rehydrating and revitalizing the connective tissues around the joints to enhance mobility.
As you settle into these longer holds, energy (Chi) begins to flow more freely, helping to release both physical and emotional tension that can manifest as discomfort in the body. This is a beautiful opportunity to quiet the mind, connect with your deeper layers, and shift towards a more expansive state of consciousness.
With ample time for the nervous system to fully unwind, you'll be guided seamlessly into a blissful state—perfectly prepared to receive the healing vibrations of the Sound Bath.
Sound Bath (30 minutes)
Experience deep relaxation and rejuvenation through this magical sound bath, where the soothing resonance of crystal bowls, the grounding vibrations of Tibetan singing bowls, and the rhythmic heartbeat of the buffalo drum harmonise to create deep tranquillity. Drift with the calming tides of the ocean drum, be uplifted by the ethereal tones of Koshi chimes and surrender to the expansive sound waves of the Meinl wind gong and more.
