Open deeply through gently held prop-supported posture while lulled by transcendent sounds of subtle percussion played beautifully by Arjun Bruggman. Arjun Bruggeman, world percussionist, meditation teacher, drummer, composer and session recording artist, is highly acclaimed for his unique hybrid of East-meets-West rhythms. He brings three decades of experience as a practitioner of Eastern and Western spiritual practices to his playing, along with nineteen years' touring as a tabla player worldwide with Krishna Das.
As a spiritual explorer he has over thirty years of practice in Taoism, Tibetan Buddhism, Hinduism, Shamanism—including Siberian, Old Norse, and Druid traditions—and more.
His lifelong quest to understand the diverse pathways of spirituality has revealed a unifying center of oneness and created a state of stillness.
He now channels his rich experience into immersive rhythmic sound journeys that blend ancient mantra recitation with percussive instruments like frame drums, tabla, hung drums and many more.
These transformative sessions, enhanced by guided meditation invite participants to dissolve everyday tension and rediscover profound inner healing and connection.
By uniting ancient wisdom with modern sound healing, Arjun’s work offers a powerful pathway to transformative inner awakening.
He has collaborated with artists including David Darling, Belinda Carlisle, Robert Bly, Clasrisa Pinkola Estes, Snatam Kaur, Jason Mraz, Mark Egan, and John Densmore and Robby Krieger of “The Doors”.
