Join Andrea Locke, WNY PRISM Coordinator, to discuss the landscape impacts of invasive species and how managing invasive species at home can improve both your yard and the surrounding environment. Invasive species pose a significant threat to our environment, economy, and human health, but there are things each of us can do to help address these issues, starting in our own backyards. We’ll learn about some of the invasive species impacting our region, why they pose such a threat, how best to manage them, and other steps you can take to improve the ecological function of your backyard.Meet your speaker, Andrea Locke.
