This workshop offers time to nurture yourself and slow down for the winter season through the healing power of writing and embodiment through a yin practice. There will be a relaxing yin class, a journalling session followed by a soothing guided relaxation. Expect to feel renewed and refreshed with a greater focus on your present self and needs.We will begin with setting intentions for the rest of the winter season (and beyond) as well as our intentions for the practice. This will be followed with a full yin class with props, a therapeutic journalling session using a variety of writing prompts (you don’t have to share any of your writing) and we’ll finish with a guided relaxation session. We will be in the cosy art room of The Salisbury Centre which is fully accessible. Please bring a notebook and pen (there will be some spares if needed) and any extra layers to feel comfortable and an optional eye pillow. There will be mats, props and blankets available at the centre.
