About this Event
BAD BETTY is an award-winning independent publisher of new poetry, and curator of live literature events taking place across the UK, renowned for publishing emerging writers.
While they have benefitted from being funded by ACE Project Grants since 2018, in December their recent application (for our 2025 Artistic Programme) was turned down. They've reapplied, but there's a 12-week wait time for a decision, followed by another month or so before the money comes in.
SO they need your, our, YER BARD and the wider poetry community's help to get through the next two or three months, while they either wait for good news, or find a way to pivot if they're turned down again. Your generosity will help them to print books, pay the Bad Betty team, pay author royalties, and cover overheads.
