About this Event
Welcome to Yalla Fest!
Yalla Fest - A Celebration of Lebanese Food, Music, & Culture.
Join us on Lebanon’s Independence Day on November 22nd for the first ever Lebanese Festival in New York City! Yalla come eat, drink, dance, and celebrate with us as we raise money for the Lebanese Red Cross & Beit Al Baraka.
A little bit about me - my name is Edy Massih and I’m the owner of Edy’s Grocer, a Lebanese cafe and market in Greenpoint Brooklyn. My 30th birthday is coming up, and since I could no longer celebrate it in Lebanon with friends and family, I wanted to mark the occasion here, with a purpose, and share it with a larger community in the city. I’m looking forward to celebrating our culture, food, art, and music featuring restaurants, small businesses, and performers from all over the city, under one roof, for one night only, to raise money and awareness for Lebanon!
