Violin virtuoso Yadnesh Raikar leads an electrifying ensemble through a genre-blurring evening of neo-classical fusion, weaving Indian classical roots with jazz, blues, and experimental sounds for a concert that promises both creative flair and fresh discovery.
Bringing together the expressive power of strings with the energy of contemporary fusion, Strings in Motion is a dynamic neo-classical concert led by violin virtuoso Yadnesh Raikar. Known for pushing the boundaries of the violin across genres, Raikar curates an evening where Indian classical traditions meet jazz, blues, electronic textures and experimental soundscapes.
Raikar’s acoustic and electric violin anchors the performance, weaving melodic conversations with an ensemble of accomplished musicians. The concert features Rahul Vadhwani on keys and synth, Shravan Samsi on drums, Avishek Dey on bass guitar, Utkarsh Shrivastava on guitar, and Ganesh Iyer on Indian percussion, along with special guest artists.
Moving fluidly between structured compositions and improvisational interplay, the performance explores the evolving language of fusion music, where classical sensibilities find new expression through contemporary sound.
