The formidable powerhouse duo COMMUNICATE bring their clubnight, XCOMMUNICATE, to The Mothership in June.Known for their long sets that incorporate decades of sound, Cyril Orson and Heylady have been punishing dance floors across Aotearoa since they joined forces almost 4 years ago. They’ve also launched their label, XCOMMUNICATE RECORDS, and their second EP is about to be released. With no plans to stop this train any time soon, they are pulling up at The Mothership on June 19 for a journey through sound.
Usually XCOMMUNICATE is a six-hour adventure through years, and sonic realms. As Heylady is still recovering from burnout, they’ve roped in one of their good friends, the amazingly talented LittleWild, to join them as they lay down four hours of four to the floor.
LittleWild is a Tāmaki Makaurau based selector who has been making waves across NZ. Known for her fierce sets that light up the dancefloor, she is tuned in, slick and knows how to hold the floor just right. You are all in for a late-night treat as she takes you through to close.
We recommend arriving early, as there are no warm-up DJs; it’s straight into the COMMUNICATE universe from the first beat.
