BIOGRAPHIES
Yuk Ching (Anson) Lam is a Hong Kong pianist. Starting at the age of three, Lam has since earned numerous accolades in prestigious piano competitions, notably a 1st place in the Grade 8 Piano Solo event at the 69th Hong Kong Schools Music Festival at 12 years old. He is also a multiple-time prize-winner and the Hong Kong Children and Youth Piano Competition. He recently participated in the 6th Fujairah International Piano Competition; at the Kendall Taylor Beethoven Competition he was highly commended for his youthful and stylistic playing.
In 2022, Lam achieved a Distinction in Piano Performance from the Licentiate of Trinity College of Music. He is currently honing his craft under the tutelage of Professor Ilya Kondratiev at the Royal College of Music. He has had the opportunity to perform for internationally renowned pianists such as Dina Parakhina, Sofya Gulyak, Eleanor Wong and more. Lam is currently performing recitals around London for the 25/26 season.
Hong Kong violist Wyatt Li began his music journey at the age of 11, where he studied violin with Professor Gian Paolo Peloso by joining the junior music program organised by the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts. He then also studied viola with Professor Born Lau at the age of 15 under the recommendation from Professor Gian.
Wyatt has attended many international events including the Young Euro Classic 2025, Musicus Fest 2022 led by Musicus society, and the Student Concert Hall 2021 organised by Radio Television Hong Kong. He has also participated in masterclasses led by Maxim Rysanov, Lawrence Power, Nora Romanoff-Schwarzberg, Isabel Villanueva, among others. And performed in concert venues such as Konzerthaus Berlin, Cadogan Hall, St. Paul Cathedral Church etc.
Wyatt has received a scholarship from the Royal College of Music, London, and is now studying viola with Professor Bryony Gibson-Cornish and Professor Simon Rowland-Jones. He regularly participates in chamber projects apart from working on solo repertoires where he recently found a clarinet trio and have successfully performed their Carne Room Elevenses debut in January 2026, and a lunchtime concert in St. Stephen Walbrook in March 2026. They have also participated and performed in major festivals including RCM’s Wind & Brass Festival and Chamber Festival.
The duo have played together for approximately two years, and they have performed Lunchtime Concert in University Church of St Mary The Virgin, Oxford, St Mary Abbots Church. They have received duo coachings from Kumi Matsuo, Nigel Clayton, Kathron Sturrock and Simon Lepper, and performed together in masterclass led by Maxim Rysanov. They also joined several competitions together including RCM’s Concerto Competition, Viola Competition, and 8th Manhattan International Music Competition. Recently, the duo performed in January 2026 at St James’ Church, Sussex Garden. They are very much looking forward to their summer engagements, including a SEN charity concert at St John’s Fulham, and a lunchtime concert at St Dunstan in the West.
