About this Event
A live event and a performance installation, questioning Voltaire’s dictum 'we must cultivate our garden' and sharing insights from practice-based PhD research into gardening as choreographic dwelling.
An opportunity to watch, move, touch and feel the soil of the performance space.
Concept and hosting by Mil Vukovic-Smart.
About the Host:
Mil Vukovic-Smart
Mil Vukovic-Smart is a London-based art researcher, performer, and choreographer. Her practice spans movement, lens-based and live art and includes teaching practice that foregrounds embodied, site- sensitive and immersive approaches to arts education. Her practice-based PhD research at Chelsea College of Arts, University of the Arts London, conceives gardening as a form of choreographic dwelling and builds an argument for choreography as a research methodology and a catalyst for new artistic practices.
