A creative writing workshop about the stuff of Buxton’s past.

Through exercises and group discussion, we will experiment across forms to realise the stories latent in every bauble, gawgaw, thingamabob, trinket, and artefact. By making playful and imaginative connections between objects, photographs, and the history of Buxton, participants will leave the workshop with a newfound understanding of their local area and the ways in which close attention to the material world can enrich our writing.
