This is a rare opportunity to get in the actual writer's room with accomplished creator, showrunner, and writer Anthony Q. Farrell (The Office, Overlord and the Underwoods, Little Mosque, Shelved, Run The Burbs, The Thundermans, etc) and crew!

This is your opportunity to be a fly on the wall and audit a real writer's room with veteran writer's for television and film. This particular project will be geared towards the development of a television project.

  • In total there will be 5 sessions.
  • You can audit one session or the entire process.
  • Session tickets are $100 each session for in-person (package deal $400 for 5)
  • Session tickets are $75 each session for online (package deal $300 for 4)

SUNDAY - DEC 1st (1pm - 5pm)
Session 1: Breaking the pilot episode. 4 hrs.

  • In this stage a room of writers will work with Anthony Q. Farrell and Miguel Anthony to figure out the major beats of the pilot episode.
  • This stage is observable either in person or via zoom.
  • At the end of the session there will be time for a Q&A with Anthony and Miguel.


SUNDAY - DEC 8th (1pm - 5-pm)
Session 2: Outline Rewrite. 4hrs.

  • In this stage, the writers room would work through the outline, giving notes to help increase the stakes and the comedy in the draft.
  • This stage is observable either in person or via zoom.
  • At the end of the session there will be time for a Q&A with Anthony and Miguel.


SUNDAY - DEC 22nd (1pm - 5pm)
Session 3: Punch & Polish. 4hrs.

  • The final stage of the pilot script is punching and polishing the draft. Writers sit around a table and read through the script, adding jokes and clarifying story as they go. At the end of the day, the script is ready to be shared with anyone that wants to read it.
  • This stage is observable either in person or via zoom.
  • At the end of the session there will be time for a Q&A with Anthony and Miguel.


Following this series we will be launching PART 2 - PITCH DECKS with two sessions focused on the creation of the pitch deck + drilling down on CHARACTERS (session 1) and EPISODES (session 2).


SUNDAY - JAN 12th (1pm - 5pm)
SESSION 4: PITCH DECK x CHARACTERS

  • In this stage, the writers would discuss the characters in depth. Where they were, where they are, and where they want to go.
  • This stage is observable either in person or via zoom.
  • At the end of the session there will be time for a Q&A with Anthony and Miguel.


SUNDAY - JAN 26th (1pm - 5pm)
SESSION5: PITCH DECK x EPISODES

  • In this final session, the writers would pitch episode ideas to help tell the story of the leads characters. Some of these ideas will make it into the revised pitch deck.
