Writers’ Night is for writers of any level to get talk about writing, rub shoulders with their peers, and lend their expertise. It's two hours of fun, camaraderie, and laughter, an event where attendees set the agenda, and the host keeps it organized. Want to talk about query letters? Let’s do it! How to get an agent? An excellent topic, let’s discuss it.
You’ll get to share your accomplishments, and maybe meet some new authors to stay in touch with. These are your people. This is your team. Come out and be a part of it.
About Monica
Monica, a former travel nurse who is currently in the Southern Colorado area by way of Kentucky, began writing her memoir during the COVID pandemic. Unsure what to do next, she attended a writer's workshop and pitched her book idea to agents. she landed representation from Kat Kerr/ Donald Maass literary agency!
Despite finding limited literary resources in Pueblo, she discovered her community at a Pikes Peak writers night in Colorado Springs and quickly became an active member. She hopes the "spin-off" PPW night here on the historic riverwalk will become a significant asset to the area.
