**Cec Peterson**
A singer, songwriter and storyteller through song, Cec is a mature, professional, well-presented and outgoing artist who is passionate about supporting live music, artists & venues alike.
Cec began performing professionally with her sisters, as The Rough Diamonds, in 2006, performing at music festivals, clubs, pubs and several venues around NSW, QLD and VIC.
Branching out as a solo artist, Cec created an even more intimate and engaging experience for her audiences.
An accomplished songwriter, Cec has released several songs over the years, many of which have gained radio airplay on high rotation across Australia and indeed internationally. Her lyrics are raw & honest, drawing from her life experience & the people she has encountered.
Her latest single, “This Old Guitar”, is a tribute to sharing her stories through song with the help of her trusted timber friend, was released in July 2025 reached number One on the
Australian Traditional Country Music Chart just weeks after its release.
Her music is available on all digital platforms.

**Shaza Leigh**
Shaza Leigh OWB stands among Australia’s most accomplished and respected country music figures - a dynamic singer, songwriter, musician, producer, presenter, and industry leader. Her career, spanning decades, reflects an unwavering commitment not only to her artistry but also to the broader Australian music community.
A founding artist of the LBS Music label, Shaza helped build what has become the world’s largest family-owned record company, which celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2024. In 2025, her 17th career album marked the label’s 200th release - a fitting milestone for one of its pioneering partners.
Since her debut in 1990, Shaza’s music has consistently charted in the National Top 10, achieving multiple #1 hits. Her exceptional talent has earned her 12 Queensland Female Vocalist of the Year titles and six National Female awards at the Gold Medallion Media Awards.
As a prolific songwriter with over 350 published works, Shaza has been honoured with six National Songwriter of the Year and three National Composer of the Year awards. Recognised with distinctions including The Order of the Wattle Blossom and the Akubra Hat Award, Shaza Leigh remains a cultural icon whose music and leadership continue to shape Australian country music.
**Greg Bain**
Greg Bain was born in the Hunter Valley region of New South Whales in 1960, but as a child he moved around quite a bit living in places such as Wingham, Trunkey Creek, and Gunnedah. He now lives at Lake Macquarie.
In 2006 Greg went along to the Bellbird Country Music Club to have a listen to the local artists. It was there that he met Slim Newton, Slim convinced Greg to get up on stage and sing a few songs. Greg became a regular performer at the club and later on that year he became a regular member of the band, playing rhythm guitar.
Slim convinced Greg to enter the Australian Bush Balladeers Star Quest at the 2007 Tamworth Country Music festival. Much to Greg’s surprise he won and as part of the prize package Greg received the honour of being the ambassador for the Australian Bush Balladeers Association for the following twelve months. Appearing at most of the East Coast Festivals during the year he became well established in the Bush Ballad scene with a very loyal fan base.
Since winning the Australian Bush Balladeers Star Quest in 2007, Greg has been a regular on the country music festival circuit travelling thousands of km’s every year performing from Port Perrie to Bundaberg.
Greg has won many industry awards during his music career and in 2014 was Inducted onto The Australian Country Music Wall of Honour.
Greg has recorded five albums to date all producedby Lindsay Butler, and is currently working on his sixth.
**Wendy Wood**
Newcastle born, Sydney raised, Tamworth and now Port Stephens, based Singer/Songwriter Wendy Wood has been writing songs for over 30 years.
Previous winner of Tamworth Songwriters Association New Songwriter of the year,
Two time winner of the Nashville Universe Songwriter of the Year,
Songsalive Australia Songwriter of the Year.
Multiple Top Ten finalist at the Australian Songwriters Association Awards (ASA) and Nominated for the prestigious Rudy Brandsma Award for Excellence in Songwriting by the ASA
Her songs have been recorded by other artists including Reg Poole, Evelyn Bury, Marie Hodson, Shaza Leigh, Greg Bain and Steve Charles.
Over the last 18 months Wendy has been working and co-writing with Aria Award winning artist, Rick Price.
She released her debut album “Enchanted Wood” in 2013, followed by “Life and Breath” in 2016, and “I Wish You Enough” EP in 2019.
In 2023 Wendy wrote a song for Legacy Australia called “The Promise” commemoration 100 of Legacy in Australia, where she was asked to go to Melbourne to sing the song at 100 year celebrations at the MCG.
Her new CD “Seasons” will be released later this year, which will include a co-write with Rick Price
Wendy is passionate about songwriting and while it’s nice to be recognised through song competitions and awards, she believes that there is no more rewarding experience than seeing someone in an audience connecting to and singing her songs back to her.
Wendy is a life member of the Tamworth Songwriters Association and has been a committee member since 1997. She is still a committee member to this day
