About this Event
November Edtion :
Write B4 The Mic –In Recognition of Movember & Mental Health Awareness.
Special Theme: Understanding Men-tality, Self & Family Reflections
This month, we’re diving into the layered theme of Understanding Men-tality — exploring how men experience and express mental health, and how this impacts themselves and their relationships with family and others.
Host : Starlight
Spotlight Speakers
We’re honoured to welcome four male speakers from the London community — creatives and collaborators of humanity — who will share their truths and lived experiences. Their stories aim to foster understanding, compassion, and support for men’s mental well-being and its ripple effect on family dynamics and their place in the world around them.
Write B4 The Mic Workshop: 6.30PM- 8.30PM
Facilitated by Starlight and the special guests, this workshop invites you to explore what we understand (and misunderstand) about mental health through writing.
You’ll be encouraged to consider: What does it mean to truly understand men’s mental well-being — in yourself, in your family, and in the wider human experience?
Expect unique conversation points and thought-provoking prompts to guide your reflections.
Open Mic – Reimagined: 8:45PM - 10.30PM
This month’s mic is more than performance — it’s a space for truth, healing, and connection. Share your voice in honour of Movember and the power of speaking up.
