Worship and prayer for the nation in Torbay

You're invited to a special CARE event that we’re hosting at Upton Vale Baptist Church.

A key focus for the evening will be prayer for our nation. Celia Bowring will lead us in this time of prayer. The evening will include ministry and worship from Graham Kendrick and musicians. James Mildred, who represents the new young leadership of CARE and heads up our Communications Department will share CARE updates.

Also our dear friend Dr RT Kendall has kindly recorded a timely and uplifting message especially for this event! Graham, RT and Lyndon have a longstanding relationship as part of a prayer retreat group that’s been meeting for the last 35 years and Dr Kendall was a trustee of CARE for 20 years before he moved back to the USA.

We’ll commence with coffee, tea and cakes at 6.30pm and conclude the evening by 9.30pm. As a valued partner of CARE, we invite you to reserve complimentary tickets for yourselves and guests.

The evening will include:

• Tea, coffee and cakes
• Worship led by Graham Kendrick and musicians
• Prayer for our nation and biblical encouragements
• A timely recorded message from Dr RT Kendall
• CARE's story and vision for the future

This event is for all - whether you have supported CARE since the beginning or you are new to the charity and would like to know more, this event is for you.

• The event is FREE to attend, bookings are made through Eventbrite
• Tea and pastries will be available from 6:30pm
• The event will start at 7:00pm and finish at 9:30pm

Venue and transport info:

By Car: On street parking free after 6pm. The Town Hall Car Park is just around the corner for pay and display.

Bus: The 35A and 62 are two of the busses that will bring you close to Upton Vale from the train station.

Train: Torquay train station is 5 minutes away in a car or 25 minutes walking.
