Join us for WORLDTHREADING 2026, a celebration of film, poetry, nature, and collective imagination.This year, Red Door, The Poetic Phonotheque, and La Periferia invite audiences to enjoy a screening of films and live performances exploring the relationship between humanity and the natural world.
The programme brings together stories from different parts of the world, minority voices, various languages, Indigenous communities, and filmmakers, artists, activists, and changemakers whose work reflects care for our planet and the communities that inhabit it. Expect poetic cinema, experimental storytelling, documentary perspectives, animation, and films that inspire reflection, connection, and action. This is a FREE event.
The live screening will take place on Thursday, 11 June in Copenhagen, followed by a two-week online presentation through The Poetic Phonotheque. Selected films will also be featured by Red Door Magazine. On the date of the event you can also acquire refreshments through Periferia.
