World Trees and Travellers: Women and the Rights of Trees
Treemoot International Storytelling Festival

On this special of the festival, award winning human rights activist and author Laura Angela Collins will tells historues and stories of Irish Travellers and Gypsy women in the Great North Wood. The session will be followed by a woodland workshop activity led by Green Party councillor Emma Beard and woodland ranger Lee Walther.
This ticket includes a booking for the opening of the festival to be held on Saturday September 28, 2024.

This events is for all ages, and accessible to all. Rehreshments are available at the festival camp, and there are access-free toilets also available.
Laura Angela Collins
Laura, mother of three, is an award winning human rights activist; author of 'The Tinker Menace: Diary of an Irish Traveller,' group leader of the 'Justice4All Women and Children' campaign and Partnerships Coordinator at the Traveller Movement.
Emma Beard
Emma is a storyteller from East Sussex also Green Party Councillor for Horsham District and steward of Old Beard's Wood.
Lisa Scneidau
Lisa is a botanical author, tree and plant lore expert and master storyteller based in Devon.
