Come enjoy the spring fresh air on 04/27/2024 Saturday morning! Come out and join the morning Qigong and Taichi exercises free! In this gathering, besides practice, you also will have a chance to watch different styles of taichi and qigong and meet new friends as well.
World Tai Chi and Qigong Day (WTCQD) is an annual event held the last Saturday of April each year to promote the disciplines and benefits of Taichi and Qigong.
Celebrated since 1999, WTCQD brings people together worldwide across economic and geopolitical lines . . . coming together to celebrate health and healing.
What will happen? At 10:00 a.m. any people will practice together Qigong and Taichi by following our instructors, everyone is welcome to participate.
After our group practice, you will have oppotunity to watch various demonstrations from local qigong and taichi schools.
What to wear? Wear your Tai chi uniform or any comfortable clothing to practice in.
What to bring? Along with your enthusiasm for Qigong & Taichi, bring water, snacks or a picnic lunch if you desire to stay and enjoy the day at the park with other participants.
Where to go? Lambert Beach Softball Field at 531 Brackenridge Wy, San Antonio, TX 78212, follow the street until to the parking lot next to the Lambert Softball Field. Look for the large gathering in the open fields.
Make sure you check the weather before you go, if it rains the event will be canceled.
