World Ocean Day: Hearing Underwater Join us Saturday, June 6 from 11am–1pm for a drop-in program with Lucy Aplan, a State College native and Coastal Carolina graduate who has studied coral reefs, sharks, and marine mammals!
Discover how sound travels underwater and how marine animals “hear” their world. Explore bone conduction by building cup-and-string telephones and experimenting with tuning forks.
The first 15 guests have the opportunity to test out audio lollipops while learning about bone conduction hearing from Lucy!
