We will be offering a guided tour at the Great Circle on April 13th at 12pm to celebrate World Heritage Week!This is a FREE tour, and no prior registration is required.
We will begin at the Great Circle Museum patio to get an overview of the Newark Earthworks complex and the venture out into the site to learn more about some key features that make this Hopewell Ceremonial Earthwork unique and worthy of its World Heritage status.
This walking tour will last about 60 minutes and will be roughly ¼ of a mile in distance. The pathway is not paved, we will be walking on mowed grass, and the ground can be uneven. Dress for the weather and be sure to wear good walking shoes.
