About this Event

Bloodline Dance Theatre presents “Theories and Apologize,” a performance that addresses the early stages of the HIV epidemic and current issues in HIV prevention through dance and movement. The event will be sponsored by the office of Assembly member @stefanizinerman Zinerman, organizations such as, Equality Project, YAS, @IWILLGRADUATE, @newyorkcarnival @funsationmedia, and various community leaders and organizations. The event will be hosted by the district leader Sarana Purcell of the 43rd district, and will feature the choreography of Founder and Co- Artistic Director of Bloodline Dance Theatre, Lamont Joseph, as well as special guest performers, Jahlisa Ross, Sundari the Indian Goddess, Dushanbe Browne Detox Bustia , Alicia Kelly and King Kayak. Please note that the commemoration event will take place at the Betty Carter Auditorium for the Performing Arts.
