Saturday 6 September 10:00 – 13:30 | In EnglishIn this half-day workshop, Kadam Tim will share Buddha's wisdom on how we can transform problems into opportunities.
One thing we can be sure of is that problems will continue to arise. But what exactly is a problem? In his book “How To Solve Our Human Problems,” Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso says:
“If we were to respond to difficult situations with a positive or peaceful mind they would not be problems for us; indeed, we may even come to regard them as challenges or opportunities for growth and development.”
In this workshop we will learn how to transform problems into opportunities to practice training in patient acceptance. In this way, instead of getting irritated or depressed when problems arise, we can use difficult situations to develop inner strength, improve our experience of life and be of benefit to others.
This workshop will include teaching and meditations. Everyone is welcome, and no previous experience with meditation is required.
