About the event:
Get ready for a fun workshop where you'll dive into the world of filmmaking!
Have you ever seen a movie and thought to yourself - wow, the light looks beautiful, how did they achieve it? Well, with this workshop, SAE brings you to the world of cinematography! You will learn the key lighting techniques that are used in film production. Together with that, you will try to capture an essence of the story in one frame - only using the lights! Come and learn the cinematography elements that will change your perspective on film and inspire you to look for the light.
About 30 - 40 minutes spent discussing details of cinematography with examples, then the remaining 1hr20min/30min will be a hands on exercise where they will be split into 2 or 3 teams, and given a very short description of a situation in which they must create the lighting/composition to help portray the story/tone of the description within one frame
