About this Event
Have you ever tried to teach yourself 3D software? Did you get frustrated and give up? I can take you through the basic process from start to finish.
Blender is a free, open source 3D modelling and animation program that works on Mac and PC. Please download and install it ahead of the workshop.

- Required to bring: Your laptop and charger, references to draw from (eg. a book, pictures on your laptop)
- Recommended to bring: 3-button mouse, paper, pens/pencils
Intro: going through some essentials of the Blender interface.
Workshop: We will do some drawings/writings on paper and digitise them. Then we will use the virtual camera to move gesturally around the drawings in time and 3D space. At the end, we will export your animation as an MP4 file.
These are experimental exercises- intended to get you to work intuitively and come up with your own approach.
