About this Event
The 2025/2026 Community & Labour Market Plan is a comprehensive regional strategy that aligns labour market analysis with community priorities to support long-term workforce resilience across Windsor-Essex. The Plan, developed through Workforce WindsorEssex's Local Board Program and the Windsor Essex Local Immigration Partnership (WE LIP), integrates labour market analysis and community planning, recognizing that workforce development, demographic change, employer demand, and community inclusion are interconnected forces shaping the region's future.
The 2025/2026 Community & Labour Market Plan includes a multi-year analysis across trends in employment, industry composition, occupational demand, demographic structure, migration, educational attainment, and income patterns, and includes priorities that the community has identified to address labour market and community issues.
Presenters include:
- Justin Falconer, CEO, Workforce WindsorEssex
- Kelsey Santarossa, Director of Community & Workforce Development, Workforce WindsorEssex
- Tashlyn Teskey, Senior Manager of Research and Innovation, Workforce WindsorEssex
The Local Board program is an Employment Ontario project funded in part by the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario. The Windsor Essex Local Immigration Partnership is funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
