About this Event

Full Event Description

Nonprofit work is demanding, and strong, connected teams are essential to sustaining the important work happening across our community.

United Way of Stanislaus County is pleased to host a half-day workshop introducing the Seity Health framework, a proven approach designed to strengthen workplace belonging, improve communication, and support healthier organizational cultures.

The Seity model, developed by Dr. Sam Romeo and Dr. Chris Hawley, has been implemented in healthcare systems, organizations, and teams across the country with measurable improvements in staff engagement, collaboration, and workplace satisfaction.

During this interactive session, participants will be introduced to practical tools and shared language that can help teams communicate more effectively, build trust, and foster stronger connections across their organizations.

Thanks to a generous community grant from Sutter Health, this program is being made available free of charge to nonprofit employees throughout Stanislaus County as an investment in the people who power our sector.

We encourage nonprofit leaders to share this opportunity with staff members who would benefit from strengthening workplace communication, collaboration, and belonging.

Participants Will Learn How To
  • Understand the core principles of the Seity framework
  • Strengthen workplace belonging and team connection
  • Improve communication and reduce misunderstandings
  • Build shared language that supports healthier team dynamics
  • Apply practical strategies that support a positive workplace culture
