Woolly Wednesdays
Join us every Wednesday for Woolly Wednesdays, our weekly drop-in sessions designed for connection, collaboration, and creation. Whether you're working on a personal project or looking for fresh creative input, our welcoming space is open for you to explore and express your creativity.
These sessions are more than just crafting time; they are an opportunity to be part of something bigger. Together, we'll create a collaborative installation to be exhibited in the spring; celebrating culture, colour, and sensory experiences in an inclusive community setting.
Under the guidance of fibre artist Nicola J Reid, a sustainable creative, we'll weave together our talents and ideas. Bring your unwanted yarns and materials, and let’s transform them into something extraordinary.
Come join us for a fun, inspiring and inclusive experience every Wednesday. All skill levels are welcome
We will be starting at 10:30am and going to 1pm. The workshop is free, we also have a donation option when you are reserving your ticket. This goes directly towards running costs and is massively appreciated.
Photography and Filming take place during workshops and gallery opening times. Please let us know if you do not want to be on film. All material captured is used for either our social media or future promotion.
Firepit is a unique space, we have a gallery of beautiful and relevant art, artist studio spaces and a community event space. We will hold the workshop on a large communal table, next to the windows. You are in the heart of the gallery here and are surrounded by inspirational art.
How to get here:
The nearest tube is North Greenwich on the Jubilee line. We are a 5 minute walk from here, located right by the Thames Clipper stop. We are on google maps. Search for Firepit Art Gallery, London
