Join Alison Smith, author of ‘Food for Roots: poems of metamorphosis’ for a 2.5 -hour workshop where you will hear, read, write and share poetry - powerful words in powerful combinations.
We begin by exploring what a poem is and Alison will share her own poems as well as her favourites by other poets. There will then be a creative exercise designed to free the poet within. We will end by a sharing and celebration of the poems written.
This workshop is for both new and experienced poets and will be free, and interactive. Places are ticket only and there are 10 places maximum.
