About this Event
How should we live when certainty begins to falter? Montaigne, writing amidst cultural and religious upheaval, turned inwards and found wisdom in scepticism, habit, and the honest observation of everyday life. In this session, we’ll examine the emergence of a new kind of self — curious, questioning, and unresolved — and ask whether doubt might not be a weakness, but a form of philosophical courage. Can uncertainty still help us live more thoughtfully?
