This is a 2-day class - February 28 & March 1
Join me in carving a cute snowman figure out of basswood. You will learn how to create this snowman figure out of basswood primarily using a knife designed for woodcarving. In this two-day class you will transform a block of basswood into this little snowman on day one, then on day two we will put the finishing touches on the carving process and paint the figure.
No experience is necessary and all tools and material will be provided, but if you have your own carving tools feel free to bring them with you. I will have tools available for purchase if you wish to continue your woodcarving journey.
All materials will be provided. Kits will be available for students to purchase if they have an interest in carving at home.
