About this Event
If you would like to meet new people, build your confidence and learn more about yourself, then why not come along to this FREE group. It's evolved from a journaling group into a supportive wellbeing group.
Each week, we focus on a different area of wellbeing, through handouts or prompts or group discussion. I also have made the group a safe space where people can share and get validation and support. It's not therapy or counselling, but it is a place you can share, if you want to. And don't worry if you're shy or don't want to share, there's absolutely no pressure to share.
My name is Dawn and I am a wellbeing coach. I have my own lived experience of living with a mental health conditions, and also have worked in mental health peer support. I decided to start my own group because I know how stretched the mental health services are, and also how lonely and isolating living with a mental health condition can be. You don't have to have a mental health condition to come along, you can come along to meet new people or just to learn tips to cope with life a bit better.
