Hey cake lovers! Celebrate Women’s History Month with a sweet tribute to creativity, confidence, and community in this hands-on cake decorating class designed especially for women and those celebrating women!
Join Celebrity Pastry Chef Dawn of Ravy Cakes, LLC.
In this inspiring workshop, you’ll learn essential buttercream piping techniques — from elegant borders to beautiful rosettes, ruffles, and florals — while gaining skills you can use again and again. You’ll also discover how to professionally apply an edible image to a cake, creating a meaningful centerpiece that honors the strength and stories of women.
Once your design is in place, you’ll receive a fully butter-creamed 4 inch mini cake to personalize with decorative finishes such as cherries, sprinkles, and other charming embellishments to make it uniquely yours. Whether you’re a beginner or simply looking to refine your skills, this class offers a supportive and joyful space to learn, create, and connect.
Come celebrate Women’s History Month with frosting, friendship, and a cake that tells a story. Tea & delicious pastries are included to enjoy during class.
The cake, buttercream, and tools are provided. You will receive a pastry box to take your cake home!
About Chef Dawn
Celebrity Pastry Chef Dawn Marie Alston of Ravy Cakes, LLC is an award winning Pastry Chef who enjoys serving her community, Instructing baking & pastry, and cake decorating classes for both children and adults. Chef Dawn enjoys instructing the youth by teaching culinary arts enrichment programs.
Pastry Chef Dawn holds and Associate of Science degree in Culinary Arts with a concentration in Baking & Pastry from The Arts Institute of Washington, and a vast of certifications and awards.
Competing in cake competitions is something that Chef Dawn loves to do. Competing on “Food Networks” The Wedding Cake Championship was a grand highlight in her career.
Chef Dawn takes great pride in coaching and mentoring her students, Some who have competed on The Food Network and various competitions.
Chef Dawn serves the entire DMV and beyond.
