THE CACAO CEREMONY
Jenny Rose has run a monthly cacao ceremony in Beetroot Sauvage for a year, before everything was put on pause for a year. And now, they are back!
They will be held in a safe way, in accordance with all guidelines. Beetroot Sauvage is a very large space, with plenty room for 16 women, and space to move freely.
Jenny Rose is also a trauma-informed somatic therapist, as well as a shamana. She knows just how hard the last year has been on our nervous systems. We both crave re-connection after a year of isolation, and the opening back up of the world feels overwhelming to our systems that have gotten used to less.
This cacao ceremony is held with the intention to help you softly land back into shared group space, with other female bodies. To be held by MamaCacao, a gorgeous gently plant medicine (pure ceremonially chocolate). To help gently release any built-up tension from the last year, to reconnect to your feeling, to reconnect to a community with sharing circle, to reconnect to one-on-one connection through gentle practices together, to sing together to the beat of the drum, to dance together... (being 'able' to sing and dance not necessary!)
The ceremony is inspired by these words by Joseph Rael:
"We find life empty and unsatisying or uninspiring because we don't do enough ceremony. We may think we're sad because our physical needs aren't being met or we need more success, but what we're really feeling is the natural hunger of the self for connection with the vast Self. And that can only come through ceremony."
This ceremony is open to all women (those in female bodies): whether you've sat in ceremony with Jenny before (and so it is a chance to go deeper) or it is your first time.
Creating a container of safety, trust and Sisterhood, there will be a sharing circle, sharing of Cacao, and then a guided process to drop deeper into our bodies using breath work, movement, sound, visualisation and meditation. There will be both a 'yang' active part of ceremony with movement and sound; and a 'yin' soft part of ceremony, for deep rest and integration.
Jenny has been journeying with MamaCacao for seven years, and holding women's cacao ceremonies in Edinburgh every month for a year, guiding women back home to their bodies, releasing what they don't need to carry, and discovering deep states of peace, joy and even bliss. Everything you need is inside of yourself. It is a true honour to guide you there.

TANTRIC AND TAOIST HEALING
Jenny has been doing this work for over 7 years, and in the last year deep dived into work with both IxCacao, and Tantric women's work. She is a 1200 hour senior teacher with the Layla Martin VITA school of women's empowerment & s*xuality, a doula, a yoga therapy teacher, a womb awakening facilitator, and has been a practicing shaman for 22 years.
In the last year she has run 5 online programmes teaching women how to run women's circles, conection to their sensual nature and bodies, the art of ritual and ceremony, and womb healing.
The last women's Cacao Ceremony held by Jenny was incredibly nourishing and powerful, with gorgeous positive reflections. This is what Louise had to say about it:
